Qualification

Degree in Business studies with accounting option, Business Administration and field experience. A Bachelors’ degree is an added advantage.

Purpose

  • Manage cash accounts, staff emoluments, financial statements, reports, books of accounts, budget estimates, relevant revenue, and any relevant duties.
  • BSc/BA in business administration or relative field and should be computer literate
  • Familiarity with financial, office, and organization management principles
  • Ability to plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devising ways to streamline processes, managing schedules and deadlines
  • Ability to develop and implement procedures for handling finances and accounting, maintaining all records.
  • Should be in position to manage organizational cash flows, prepare monthly organizational budgets, and financial reports
  • Should have good Communication, problem solving and conflict management skills in a multidisciplinary team

2. PHARMACIST(PART TIME)

Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.

Purpose

  • Legal coverage and ensure effective medication use delivering maximum value to pharmacy and society
  • Viewing and executing physician’s prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legality
  • Organizing the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster
  • Maintaining full control over delivering, stocking and labeling medicine and other products

3.MIDWIFE

Qualifications

Midwifery certificate or its equivalent with valid license to practice. Ready to work in rural sub-counties of Kamuli district or other branches of CFU.

Purpose

  • To provide day-to-day midwifery and nursing clinical services at health facility and community.
  • Plays both care and supervisory roles in the provision of nursing and midwifery care.
  • Manages and accounts for all allocated resources and submits timely requests for essential equipment’s and supplies.
  • Ensures equipment is secure, functional and well maintained.
  • Receiving patients, registering admissions, deliveries, discharges and deaths.
  • Conduct antenatal care and identify high risk cases for referrals, sensitize mothers about benefits of breast feeding and recommended diet.
  • Providing care during pregnancy, labor, delivery and puerperium with emphasis to prevention of infection and complications to mother and baby.
  • Participating in the bed side nursing procedures as a member of the caring team.
  • Participating with Doctors/clinical officer’s clinical care processes, preparing patients for procedures, and requisitioning and accounting for medical supplies and sundries.
  • Participating in research activities, HIV counseling, testing and ART provision.
  • Imparting knowledge and skills to patients and staff.
  • Adhering to professional code of conduct and Ethics.
  • Compiling daily ward report and handing over to in coming shift.

4.LABORATORY ASSISTANT

Qualifications

Diploma/Certificate in Medical Laboratory Techniques or its equivalent. Ready to work in rural sub-counties of Kamuli district or the other branches of CFU.

Purpose

  • You will be responsible for administering the laboratory services of the CFU medical centres, and ensure that services are well planned for, provided with necessary resources and implemented in accordance with set policies and standards
  • To plan, coordinate, administer, and provide clinical and community laboratory services.
  • Prepare work plans and budgets for laboratory activities at the CFU Medical Centers.
  • To attract, retain, develop, manage and provide administrative support to the Administrative Manager for outstanding performance in line with CFU’s strategic plan.
  • Prepare solutions, reagents, and stains following standard laboratory formulas and procedures.
  • Prepare specimens and samples, Carry out routine laboratory tests accurately.
  • Record and interpret results of laboratory tests.
  • Take measures to ensure proper disposal practices for chemical hazardous waste as per environmental health standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order materials and supplies in accordance with established CFU policies and procedures.
  • Make specifications of required laboratory test kits, reagents and other laboratory supplies to be procured, and carry out verifications of the supplies and reagents delivered.
  • Monitor the usage of laboratory supplies, Monitor the functionality of laboratory equipment and ensure that they are in good working condition.
  • Maintain quality assurance and control in the laboratory.

5. Medical Clinical Officer

Qualifications

Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery or its equivalent and registered with the Council for Allied Health Professionals and has certificate in HIV counseling and testing. Ready to work in rural sub-counties of Kamuli district or other branches of CFU.

Purpose

  • To provide day-to-day clinical assessment and diagnosis, management and follow-up of patients using the health set guidelines inclusive of HIV counselling, testing & ART provision.
  • Ensure smooth flow of services in the health facility from inpatient, OPD to exit pharmacy.
  • Carrying out appropriate clinical evaluations & making correct diagnosis, & management for diverse ailments including HIV counselling, testing & ART provision.
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and other data collection as required for clinical care, monitoring, evaluation and research within the health facility.
  • Advising pharmacy on essential drugs required at the health facility.
  • Working with pharmacy staff to ensure prescriptions are correctly dispensed.
  • Working together with the laboratory staff to ensure relevant investigations are done in a timely manner with the correct results and ensure quality control.
  • Planning and conduct of medical camp outreaches; coordinating training sessions in the health facility through CPDs and as part of the project activities.
  • Develop facility guidelines and protocols.
  • Assisting in preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports.

6.RESTAURANT OR KITCHEN COOK

Qualifications

Diploma or certificate in Catering or Culinary school education is preferred, and prior experience in a related position.

Purpose

  • You will provide do, manage and devise menus according to customer needs, food and ingredient preparation, cooking, food sanitation and safety, food orders and ordering supplies, kitchen equipment, monitor inventory and accountability.
  • Order materials, supplies, and ingredients based on demand.
  • Maintain weekly and monthly cost reports.
  • Multi-task other duties as shall be assigned.
